We chose this particular combination of amla and moringa for its ability to influence metabolism. Amla is made from the fruit of the Indian gooseberry tree, and used in Ayurvedic medicine to help improve lipid profiles, such as triglycerides and cholesterol1. Moringa is made from the leaves of the Miracle tree (also sometimes called Drumstick tree), and contains several compounds that may help reduce the absorption of sugar in the body2. When paired together, according to research, this combination has the potential to positively influence several metabolic markers, including waist circumference, blood sugar, inflammatory markers, lipids, and bodyweight 1,3
